Originally built in the 1850's, the venue has a colourful history as a hangout for smugglers and crimpers before its incarnation as The Exchange Hotel in 1873, the name it held until 1987. Following a brief interval as Irish pub 'Molly Blooms', the venue reclaimed its original title, where the warmth and comforting feel of a quality local pub became paramount to its current success.
